We depart for Santiago, Chile.

We arrive in Santiago and proceed to our city tour. We’ll see the Cathedral, San Francisco Church, Plaza de Armas, Santa Lucia Hill and more. This evening is our Welcome Dinner.

We transfer to our cruise ship, and this evening we enjoy our first delicious dinner on board.

Time to relax, get acquainted with the ship and your fellow passengers, and enjoy the endless array of facilities, activities and entertainment on board.

Puerto Montt is the gateway to Patagonia, and optional tours include the breathtaking scenery of Patagonia’s Lake District and snow-covered Osorno Volcano.

Relax and enjoy all of the activities and entertainment on board our ship.

Located in the central part of the Southern Patagonia Ice Fields, the Amalia Glacier descends from the Andes Mountains and towers above the sea. The Amalia’s mammoth blue mountain of ice is constantly changing. Keep an eye out for dolphins, frequently spotted swimming by ships.

Punta Arenas is the hub for many adventures—penguin colonies, Antarctica, and Patagonia to name a few. Explore the city’s sights or visit a living museum dedicated to the sheep ranchers who settled Patagonia.

Ushuaia is the southernmost town in the world, and is located on the island territory of Tierra del Fuego. “The Land of Fire” features unforgettable scenery and trails of discovery.

A notable day! Today we round the southern tip of South America. You will be awestruck by the rugged beauty and imposing vision of Cape Horn—a massive rocky point that was the bane of early explorers.

The capital of the Falkland Islands is still considered very British. Here you can visit a penguin rookery, learn of the island’s tumultuous past at the Historic Dockyard Museum or enjoy a pint at a local pub.

Relax and enjoy all of the activities and entertainment on board our ship.

Puerto Madryn is known today for its animal life, which Argentina protects in this scenic, remote wildlife preserve. Puerto Madryn is also the gateway to Punta Tombo National Reserve and Argentine Patagonia—a small city that serves as a base for exploring the remote wildlife preserves.

Relax and enjoy all of the activities and entertainment on board our ship.

Uruguay’s charming capital overlooks the River Plata and has plenty of unique architecture, parks and monuments. The waterfront promenade is a great place to stroll and people watch.

We arrive in Buenos Aires—a city of wide boulevards, 19th century mansions, French colonial architecture and colourful traffic-free shopping areas. You can explore the city, take an optional excursion or enjoy your last day of activities on board the ship. This evening is the Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

We disembark and proceed to our Buenos Aires city tour. We will see the famed major sights such as the Obelisk, the Plaza San Martin, the main square—Plaza de Mayo and Plaza Alvear. Then we see the green area of Palermo with its parks and artificial lakes, and the Recoleta area with its many elegant boutiques and restaurants. The grave of Eva Perón is located in the cemetery of Recoleta. During the tour we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

We enjoy a tour of the charming resort town of Tigre and the Parana River Delta. Tigre is known for its summer residences and yachting. We’ll take a boat excursion on the channels of the Tigre Delta to see some of the many beautiful green islands. This evening we enjoy a Tango Dinner Show—a must when you are in Buenos Aires!

The morning is at leisure before we transfer to the airport for our flight home, via São Paulo.
