We depart from pre-determined pick-up points in the Toronto / Burlington area. We travel through the lovely scenery of New York State and arrive at our stopover point, Albany, the state capital. Tonight, we enjoy our Welcome Dinner.

We journey to Northern New England and the “Green Mountain State” of Vermont. Today’s guided tour will include a visit to the Danforth Pewter Flagship Store, where you’ll discover one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces. Through viewing windows into the shop, you will also get the chance to see the artisans at work. Enjoy some free time shopping in Brandon, exploring the small shops and historic architecture. Next, take a trip through 200 years of maple sugaring history at the New England Maple Museum. We overnight in Killington.

Our day begins with a visit to the President Coolidge State Historic Site, the birthplace and boyhood home of President Calvin Coolidge in Plymouth Notch. You will experience the historical museum, community church, cheese factory, schoolhouse, general store and the cemetery where the President was laid to rest. Before making a scenic rest stop at Quechee Gorge, take some time to explore the picturesque village of Woodstock. We then take a ride on the Loon Gondola (New Hampshire’s longest, scenic Gondola Skyride) where you will enjoy the spectacular views of the 2,750 foot summit. Afterward, we’ll head to Gilford where we will check into our accommodation for the next two nights.

Today starts aboard the MS Mount Washington, a first class, 230-foot excursion ship. Cruise the crystal-clear waters of Lake Winnipesaukee, located in the beautiful Lakes Region at the foothills of the White Mountains. Enjoy some leisure time in the lakeside village of Wolfeboro, NH, before continuing on for a visit to the Loon Center and the Moultonborough Country Store, which dates back over 200 years!

Soak in the stunning scenery as we travel south to the southern Maine seacoast. Spend some free time in the charming waterfront town of Kennebunkport before continuing to Portland, our home for the next two nights. Enjoy a tour of downtown Portland, including a stop at Portland Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse in America.

Explore the winding village streets of the boating capital of Maine, Boothbay Harbor. After enjoying the included traditional Maine lobster luncheon, we will visit the Maine Maritime Museum, located in Bath. This museum depicts Maine’s shipbuilding industry, starting from the 1600’s and offers numerous hands-on exhibits and boat building demonstrations. We then stop at the L.L. Bean Outlet, before heading back to our hotel for an evening at leisure.

Learn about Maine’s lobster industry and enjoy the sights, as we cruise on the Finestkind in Ogunquit’s Perkins Cove. Enjoy some free time before we travel to Sturbridge, MA, where you will step back in time at the Old Sturbridge Village, a re-creation of a rural New England town. After strolling through the 1830’s community, we will continue to our overnight stop in Albany. This evening, we enjoy our farewell dinner.

We cross the border back into Canada, with a stop at the Duty Free Shop. We arrive at the Toronto / Burlington areas in the early evening.
