Vienna, Prague & Budapest (Spring) & Prague, Vienna & Budapest (FALL)
Active pace with longer touring days. Expect intermittent walking at a moderate pace for 2–3 hours over a variety of terrain, including cobblestones, hills and uneven pavements. Must be able to negotiate stairs of varying heights, sometimes without handrails. Can tolerate periods of standing during guided tours and be able to climb in/out of various modes of transportation. Some days may include 5–7 km of walking over the course of the day.

Next, visit the lavish Schonbrunn Palace, where Mozart held his first royal concert. Our Welcome dinner is at the palace, followed by a classical concert in the orangery.
FALL 2026: Take a coach and walking tour of the stunning Hradcany Castle district. Visit the majestic St. Vitus Cathedral, Loretto Chapel, and Golden Lane, home of 17th-century goldsmiths and alchemists.

FALL2026: Journey across the iconic Charles Bridge to Lesser Town’s artisan houses, 17th-century palaces, Jewish Ghetto, and famous astronomical clock. Unwind with a scenic Vltava River cruise before an afternoon at leisure.
SPRING 2026: Today, we explore the countryside, with our first stop at the palatial Abbey of Melk, home to Benedictine monks for 900 years. We’ll visit the restored UNESCO World Heritage Abbey that hovers over the Danube Valley, with its renowned treasures such as the art-lined Imperial Corridor, the Abbey Museum, the “Marble Hall”, and the Baroque church. We’ll then board our lunch cruise that takes us through the beautiful Wachau Valley, blanketed with vineyards and charming villages, like Durnstein (where legend has it that Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned). We finish with a vineyard tour and tasting at a family-run winery.

Enroute to Budapest, stop for walking tours in Bratislava, Slovakia’s capital, and Gyor, the “City of Waters”. Take in the towns’ marvelous statues, city squares and 18th-century pastel buildings. Later, arrive at the spa hotel in Budapest for a four-night stay.
Embark on a grand tour of Budapest, including iconic Heroes’ Square, the magnificent Opera House, House of Parliament, Jewish Quarter, and more. We will enjoy a food tasting lunch at the Great Market Hall, then ascend Gellért Hill for a bird's-eye view of the city. We finish in the Castle District, home of the Royal Palace, and visit the famous Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion. In the evening, enjoy a typical Hungarian cooking class of classical Hungarian dishes.
Drive along the Danube to the 18th-century village of Szentendre, marked by cobblestone streets, Baroque architecture, hidden alleys and colourful old houses. Enjoy a tour and tasting at the Marzipan Museum, featuring sculptures made of marzipan. Lunch is in Visegrad, where Dracula is rumored to have been imprisoned in the town’s 13th-century fortress.
Spend the day at leisure. Rejuvenate in the thermal spa, venture to the city for a lovely musical performance, or rest. In the evening, enjoy a delectable Farewell Dinner cruise along the romantically illuminated Danube.
