We travel to Beijing via Vancouver

Arrive in Beijing and settle in as we transfer to our hotel. After your flight, unwind, enjoy dinner at the hotel, and rest up for the adventures ahead.

Step into imperial China as we tour Tian’anmen Square and the majestic Forbidden City. In the afternoon, explore the Temple of Heaven and watch locals practice Tai Chi. The day ends with a traditional Peking Duck welcome dinner at a local Beijing restaurant.

Journey to the breathtaking Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, where the wall winds dramatically over forested hills. Originally built to defend against northern invasions, the Great Wall once stretched over 3,700 miles. In the afternoon, explore Chang Ling, the grand Ming Dynasty mausoleum steeped in 500 years of imperial history.

Step back in time on a guided pedicab tour through Beijing’s historic Hutongs, visiting traditional courtyard homes and a local family. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch before exploring the Summer Palace, with its tranquil gardens, Kunming Lake, Marble Boat, and the iconic Long Corridor.

Fly to Xian, visit the Forest of Stone Steles, and enjoy a special dumpling dinner at Defachang, famous for its unique and artistic dumplings.

This morning, we visit the remarkable Terracotta Warriors, marveling at the life-sized figures guarding Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb. After lunch, explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient City Wall, and enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and show, offering a captivating journey through ancient China with live performances and traditional music

Today, we visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, the ancient burial site of Emperor Jing of Han and his empress, before transferring to the airport for your flight to Chengdu.

Visit the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Centre, a conservation and research centre that breeds and protects these endangered species. In the afternoon, explore the Jinsha Site Museum and Jinli Cultural Street. In the evening, we attend a mesmerizing Sichuan Opera Face-Changing Show.

This morning, visit the Chengdu Sichuan Cuisine Museum and enjoy a hands-on cooking class, learning to make seasonal Sichuan dishes. Afterward, take a highspeed train to Chongqing. Then board your 5-star cruise for a 3-night stay

We visit Fengdu Ghost City, a historical site known as the "Capital of Ghosts" for its elaborate depiction of the afterlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a variety of onboard activities and lectures.

Begin the day sailing through the breathtaking Qutang Gorge, followed by the majestic Wu Gorge. In the afternoon, transfer to a smaller boat for a scenic cruise through Shennv Stream, where you’ll see towering cliffs, lush hills, and the famous hanging coffins.

Disembark at Maoping Pier for an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest water conservancy project. Then, visit Yichang Museum, Binjiang Park, and Wanda Plaza before flying to Shanghai.

Explore the 400-year-old Yu Garden, built in 1577, and discover the nearby Cheng Huang Miao. In the afternoon, stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road.

This morning, explore Zhujiajiao Water Town, an ancient town with over 1,700 years of history, known for its charming bridges, willow-lined rivers, and tranquil atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit the towering Shanghai Tower, the second tallest building in the world, offering stunning views of the city. Tonight is our farewell dinner.
