Moderate pace with leisurely intermittent walks up to 2 hours on a variety of terrain, including cobblestones and moderate hills. Must be able to climb at least two flights of stairs, negotiate steps without railings and tolerate periods of standing during guided tours. Some days may include 3–5 km of walking over the course of the day.
We depart for Buenos Aires, with a stop in São Paulo en route.

Today we will enjoy a morning tour of the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, visiting the Plaza de Mayo, Metropolitan Cathedral, La Boca district and the Recoleta Cemetery, where Eva “Evita” Perón was laid to rest. After lunch at a local restaurant, we transfer to the port to board the Sapphire Princess.
Enjoy free time exploring Buenos Aires until mid-day, when our ship sets sail. Get acquainted with our luxurious home on the ocean and enjoy world-class gourmet dining, on-board entertainment, and the ultimate in relaxation.

Enjoy Montevideo’s cosmopolitan charm: see its Beaux Arts architecture and vibrant markets, take a stroll along the waterfront promenade, get a taste of Uruguay’s rich wine heritage or wander through Ciudad Vieja, the historic old town.
We disembark and enjoy a tour of the Parana River Delta and the charming resort town of Tigre, known for its summer residences and yachting. We’ll take a boat through the channels of the Tigre Delta to see some of the beautiful green islands. Lunch at local restaurant is included. This evening we enjoy a Tango Dinner Show – a must when you are in Buenos Aires!
We enjoy a free morning to explore Buenos Aires on our own, then transfer to the airport for our flight back to Canada.
